Kuvajtski Grad svile - Medinat al-Harir
Kuvajt je odlucio uloziti 132 milijarde americkih dolara u gradnju Medinat al-Harira, odnosno Grada svile.
Nova metropola imat ce neboder visok hiljadu i jedan metar, rezervat za divljac, domove za 700 000 ljudi te brzu i luksuznu zeljeznicku vezu s Damaskom, Bagdadom, Iranom, ali i Kinom.
Nacrt tog novog finansijskog, luksuznog, turistickog i komunikacijskog centra izradio je londonski arhitektonski studio Eric R Kuhne & Associates.
